Literacy & Learning
At T.D. Michel Public School, we believe every child can learn, grow, and succeed. We provide a variety of learning opportunities to support the whole child and help students build the skills and confidence they need for the future.
Our classrooms use UFLI Foundations to support the development of strong foundational reading skills. Students also work toward learning goals that help them understand what they are learning and recognize their progress.
Learning happens in many ways at T.D. Michel! Through Math Buddies, Land-Based Learning, and EPBL (Experiential Project-Based Learning), students have opportunities to build skills, work together, solve problems, and connect their learning to the world around them.
We are proud to offer a learning environment that encourages curiosity, celebrates growth, and supports students in becoming confident, lifelong learners.
