This will help to prevent the spread to other students and staff.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Communicable Diseases<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Communicable diseases can spread rapidly through a classroom. To control the spread of illness, children who have a fever, diarrhea, or rashes should not attend school until they are well and\/or have been treated by a doctor.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Children with the following conditions should not attend school until they have been treated:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Head lice<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Strep throat<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Scabies<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Scarlet fever<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ringworm<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Eye infections (pink eye)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Impetigo<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.saskhealthauthority.ca\/your-health\/conditions-illnesses-services-wellness\/all-z\/communicable-disease-control\/communicable-disease-control-schools-and-child-care-centres\">SHA Communicable Disease Control in Schools and Child Care Centres<\/a><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Medication Policy<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Saskatchewan Rivers Public School Division schools attempt to provide a safe and secure environment for all students. A policy has been established to administer medication to students. Parents are to contact the Principal when their child requires medication.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Medical Alert<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Please be aware that we are a \u201cnut alert\u201d school. We have students that are extremely allergic to all nut products; therefore, nut products of any kind are not allowed in the school.\u00a0 Please keep this in mind when packing lunches and snacks.
